Prizma Beta starts construction entertainment and shopping center in Kiev

A new entertainment and shopping center - Dneprovskaya Pristan has begun its construction in Kiev, Ukraine. The developer of the project is Prizma Beta Company. Architect team consists of Architect Soyuz and UK based Chapman Taylor. Jones Lang LaSalle is acting as the exclusive marketing broker for the project. Prizma Beta, the developer of the project plans to invest approx. €117 million ($150 million).

The project is located at General Vatutin Prospect, near the Moscow Bridge, which connects two parts of the city. Dneprovskaya Pristan location, with transportation flow of 200,000 cars per day, has excellent visibility and easy access.

The project is a part of a multifunctional complex, comprising residential development and a yacht club. Total area of the project is 300,000 sq m. Center's infrastructure will include a hypermarket (18,000 sq m), multiplex (5,000 sq m), bowling alley (2,000 sq m), entertainment facilities (5,000 sq m) and food court (2,000 sq m).

Alexey Strulev, General Director, Prizma Beta: "Dneprovskaya Pristan will become the first entertainment and shopping center of international quality in Kiev. The first phase (hypermarket and parking) is planned for opening for the summer of 2007. The second phase (shopping and entertainment center) will open in the first quarter of 2008".

Philippe Beurtheret, Associate Director for Retail at Jones Lang LaSalle comments: "The unique location of the center, large catchment area, management according to international standards and the professional concept will make Dneprovskaya Pristan a favourable place for shopping and leisure of Kiev citizens and city guests. We plan to attract here new-to-market foreign brands".
